I just received an allocation to order a new RS. Thought I'd ask everyone what color schemes they would suggest. I want to do something different, though about doing the Gulf colors, thought maybe about doing the original RS colors like yellow with green wheels and writing, maybe a special order like mint green, what do you guys think?!

Id love to see one of the original RS.1 color combos on the rs.2, those were the sickest color combos

 

Hell yeah! I'm a fan of loud color combo's on the GT3RS. Go for it. Love the color schemes on the old 964 RS cars, they really make the car stand out as different and unique. Mint Green, Ruby Red, Signal Green, Mexico Blue go for it. Hopefully we can keep this with Porsche's RS cars though, it would ruin it if we started seeing the same on other cars.

 

Be original...get Pink body with Fuchsia wheels.

 

are they still accept color to sample for RS? Riviera Blue, Mint green will be nice.

 

gulf blue is very nice.

 

They wont do gulf blue because the family who originally ran the Gulf 917 own that paint color, therefore Porsche cant do that color. Either way Im thinking doing something completely different, could be cool!

That story about not being able to paint Gulf Blue doesn't jive with me. I've seen several random cars factory painted that color. There's a 993 C4S floating around out there and a Carrera GT as well.

Right now my favorite PTS color would be MK1 orange or green, or smurf blue. On all these colors black accents, decal delete.

No PTS "free" white red decal delete, but I'm partial ;-)
