anyone with GMG RSR Roll Bar with RS rear carpet?

i would like to install GMG's RSR Roll Bar because of its mounting points,
but i don't want to cut the carpet.
i've found out that i can get "rs carpet" that is pre-cut from the factory, used in gt3 rs with
factory installed roll bars.

i asked Fabryce of gmg if i can use the carpet with his gmg rsr bar,
he says a couple of his customers are running the set up but
i did not get the confirmation on how "well" it fits together.

anyone on this board with this set up?
i wonder if the cut out on the carpet aligns well enough with
the bar's thickness and the angle which it goes into the carpet.

thanks in advance.

I don't get it? To put in the RSR carpet piece wouldn't you have to cut the carpet anyway?

i'm just being anal and don't want to cut the original carpet. :)
plus if rs carpet works with the bar, i can skip the process of making template by measuring and aligning which is pita.

I have a C2 with adjustable coil overs that come through the shock mounts into the rear cabin. The carpet piece that you guys are looking at pops out on the C2, there is no cutting. Its tough to pull the piece out, but it does come out.

I know exactly what you are talking about as I have this setup on my 07 RS. The fit is acceptable...but not perfect. If you need it to be perfect then I'd recommend buying a 2nd carpet for the rear shelf and cut that one up so you can keep your original. The passenger side hole fits pretty decent but the drivers side is snug at one part of the hole and the other side is too big. It does make the job quicker though. If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably do the same thing.

If you go OEM buy the rear carpet.

The carpet for the RSR bar doesn't fit the GMG bar well. If you want it to be perfect then buy a second OEM carpet and cut it.

I have a similar question. I am 99% sure i have the Sharkwerks bar from the looks of the shape and mounting points and would like to get a factory looking piece of carpet put around it.

Will this carpet piece fit the below rollbar?

Just an update, I have identified my bar as a RSS Series 930 bar. If anybody else has this bar and would not mind making a template from the top side of the carpet and send it to me I would greatly appreciate it.
