PIRELLI's
How many of you guys have Pirelli P-Zero Corsa's on your GT3's??
That's what mine came with & I was wondering what your opinion of them is. My previous C2S has MPS2's and I liked those tires. They were good on the street and on the track as well. TIA, Mr. B |
I don't have any experience with the Pirellis, but others speak positively about them.
However, if interested I have a new set of MPSCs N1 that came on my car, have only 250 highway miles on them, they are for sale for $1200. |

This is my DD, I need dry/wet tires, so I am getting Toyo Proxes 1s for the winter. I am am in Maryland, getting my tires from Paul at Radial Tire, if you are interested I can leave the tires with him and you can pay him and get them.

Oh, wait, these are Cup tires?? They are awesome, but, like you, my car is a DD too. I would be VERY interested if they were the Pilot Sport 2 tires, but Cup tires are pretty much track tires only. Thanks anyway. It's a great offer, but not what I want. Thanks anyway, Mr. B |
From my searches on this topic, the Pirellis might be the best choice for a tire than you can DD and still not lose any performance relative to the Cups. I've seen several people comment that the handling is obviously superior to the PS2s and the rain traction is "doable" for a DD. The Corsas are expensive though at around $2000 a set. I've also seen the Bridgestone RE-11 mentioned as a slightly more affordable DD tire, but they are quite heavy.
I DD my GT3 and although we don't get major winter weather in Dallas, I'm sure we'll get some sleet and ice a couple of times. I'm curious to see how the Corsas handle DD duties. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...elin-ps2s.html GMG mentions in their post that the Corsas are actually faster than the Cups at WSIR. Seems like a win-win tire to me other than the cost. |

Thanks anyway, Mr. B Btw, the new Toyo Proxes 1 is out in sizes for the GT3, I am going to probably pick up a set this weekend, may want to take a look at those; Toyo claims equal or better wet traction and better dry braking and lateral traction. |

No worries at all, simple misunderstanding :)

System is the matching set that they refer to.

Good feedback, but what do you mean by Corsa System? What's the "system" part of four tires??
