Is it OK to use Lithium battery for daily driver? Anybody use it?

As long as you drive it everyday to avoid losing charge, then you should be fine. I think the biggest hurdle is swallowing the price...

 

I have one in my GT3RS and GT2RS and drive them regularly with no problem.
Porsche recommends that you charge them if the car is not going to be driven for a period of time (read 2 weeks). I use them like normal batteries and put them on the Porsche charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter if I am not going to drive the car for a week or more (like winter). A nice feature of the Li batteries is that they emit a warning chirp when the charge is low so you can charge the battery before it goes completely dead. Hope this helps!
