In-car video of son's first autocross
 

I took my son to a local SCCA Autocross event for his first 'experience'. I'm not the smoothest nor am I the fastest (I've done it one other time in the past 8 years or so). But the expressions on his face are priceless and a memory that will last forever - both for him and for me.

To see his pure joy (maybe some nervousness) is a true gift. He's had some medical issues in the past and will have some challenges in the near future as well, so the more things like this he experiences, the happier it makes me.

He is sooooo hooked now. He stayed in for another 4 runs. Next time, I'm taking him to the local Kart track and give him a chance to drive by himself.

It's an RSS XPipe... I've received more compliments on it than I can count. Installed myself with him. So simple, a 12 year old could do it. Well... almost. ;)

that 12 year olds going to be totaly hooked in a few years. he's so lucky, my parents still think its a waist of money when I enjoy cars. It is great that you get to share this with him. best of luck to you man
