2011 Gt3 RS Exhaust

I am not aware that the GT3 RS has side mufflers. I thought it was just the center section that hooks up to the cats and headers.

I replaced my center sections with muffler bypass pipes. I never saw any side mufflers.....

Is the side muffler only with the GT3 non RS version?

hmmm, I am not sure why I have not noticed this. What part do you recommend to replace the side mufflers. I want to open up the car's exhaust note more and also add headers with 200 cell cats.

Right now, I just have GMG titanium muffler bypass pipes on it.

Supersprint, fabspeed, akrapovic, those are just a few who make side muffler bypass pipes.

you could use cup car elbows to bypass the side mufflers and run them stright to the gmg bypass, May be kinda loud In which case I would put the stock center muffler back on and use gmg headers and 200 cell cats to side muffler bypass kit elbows made by supersprint or FVD/M&M has a kit also Akropovik has a cup style exhaust set up. Porsche motorsports has the cup style elbow there are many options depending on what you want to spend.

QS....we have a side muffler bypass available for the GT3's. What's great about our version is that it includes the valves (which we believe the engine needs!). This gives you the correct amount of low-end backpressure, and also lets you keep the sport button function (which is nice for driving around town, because side muffler bypasses can be LOUD ).

Nice option to be able to have a bit more noise, less weight and an quiet option for sound sensitive tracks. Bolts up to OEM headers and oem Ti or steel GT3 center muffler?

I need more info.

Lots of information already in this thread. The most powerful header solution on the market are the SuperSprint stepped design headers. The stepped design is made to increase exhaust velocity through a tapered piping diameter and much longer primaries than comparable headers on the market. The full catted system picks up close to 20hp !

However the added length of the headers means you need to use SuperSprint's 200CPSI catted or catless side pipes and center muffler as pictured above.

For more information, you can view our thread here:

Detail shots of the headers:
