What times are people turning in stock GT3's at big Willow?

(With stock suspension and only a change to DOT-R compound tires.)

Thanks.

Also, I heard a guy named Ricky Martin turned 1:26 with a street-driven, stock-motor 993 w/slicks and Jae Lee's custom Bilstein's...anyone see this take place? I talked to Jae and it's true, but I'd like to hear what it looked like from someone who was watching. That's damned fast.

Well, I've done 1:32's there but that scares the **** out me. 1:33's or 1:34 is about as fast as I want to go without a full roll cage.

Cort Wagner took my car around once in roughly high 1:28 (just a watch calculation) so I know the car can go sub 1:30's.

Car is stock except for MPSC's.

Average well driven street Porsches are around 1:35-140. 1:26?! That is damn fast with a stock 993. Sign him up!

Have you seen Jae Lee turn :28s in his '73 911 beast? That's pretty impressive too. I'd like to watch that.

Can't compare stock to dedicated track cars. GT3 Cup cars do ~1:19s..

Wow. That's smokin'! What kind of speed through T9 on a lap like that?

if the 993 your talking about is arena red, if talked to ricky and his car is anything but stock. its a c4s with an rsr motor (from what he told me). i looked under the hood and it definately is not a stock 993 motor. regardless, he is very fast

Yes, it can go much faster, just don't brake except for T3 and T5! :D

What's the weight difference a built Cup car or your WCGT car and an OE street car?

supercup Jul 20, 2005 12:52 PM

GT3 RS can do 1:18 & 1:19's - GT3 Cup cars can do 1:24-1:26 (maybe Cort can do a high 22).
