I can't imagine the side ducts will stay on there for production, but rather that they'll be using the turbos rear fenders.

I am pretty sure that I read the 991 has three different rear fender widths right now, base / widebody / turbo, hence a cost effective mule option of just using the turbos fenders (scoops and all). Would be interesting to see them use the ducts as some sort of intake system like prototech did on this RSR build, but not sure about the weighed benefits of a ram-air style intake vs additional drag?

Anybody notice how wide the front fenders are!!??

The rear "inlet" which is identical to the turbo cars could be simply because they used a Turbo chassis as a test mule. Or they could be using it as some kind of cooling duct, like they do on it's older brother...
