Ordering a GT3 need some help!
Guys thanks for all the great information. My build is option heavy as well. As it stands now I have a 165,000 build including the sport chromo, 18 way power seats, pccb, axle lift (I need driveway clearance), carbon, deviated stitching and more.
I have the same problem with white as I hear on the boards. Every porsche out there these days seems white and even more so with C2S with body kits. My next choice would really be the Jet black metallic which is nice but to me it doesn't show the lines of the car.
I didn't go with the buckets because for me this will be a daily driver and its not comfortable IMHO.
So as it sits right now its either Red or Jet black metallic.
Another thing leading me to red is that my brother who lives 5 min from and who i work with is getting a black turbo with yellow stitching so i feel i can always switch if I get tired of the color.
I too love the GT silver but with the price of the options going up so much I don't know if I would be willing to pay the premium for GT silver of 3140. I agree also that i don't really like the Rhodium either.
If I had more time I would definitely PTS and choose mexico blue its amazing.
I also like the AQUA blue from the GT3 RS color thats an amazing blue as well.
Last questions did anyone order the seat backs in leather option? I really am not in love with the plastic silver backs that much but I don't really want to spend another 2000K.
Also how many of you leased vs. purchased on this one?

What do you have that gets it to 165k? I optioned one out with pretty much everything including the carbon buckets and I get to 156k. Granted I don't have PCCB or carbon interior but if I did that then it would still be below 165k.
I have seen leather back seats. I would go with it if you don't mind the extra 1k. Makes it look much better and the deviated stitching will match too. Don't lease this car. There are no incentives you save maybe 50 bucks between lease and finance. That is if you can finance at a low rate like 2% (I don't know your credit).

Hmmmm well it depends how valuable no brake dust is to you. That's the only advantage of the PCCB on the street. If your going to keep this car short term as in under 5 years, and don't have an unlimited budget, I wouldn't get them.
The only sport chrono option I see on the configurator is the $500 clock under "interior"....is that what you guys are referring to? ...if so, I'm fairly certain that $500 clock has nothing to do with launch and dynamic mounts.....but correct me if I'm wrong.
What about lasting 100,000 miles as opposed to...?
There is no sport chrono under "performance" like in the carrera config.

Sport Chrono on the GT3 adds the clock and the track app only. It has nothing to do with performance on the GT3. It is also not $500, but $1850 for the 2015. The $500 you are seeing is if you want a colored face on the clock. The sport chrono is under Audio and Communications.
I'd do the following:
Add Online services UN1.
Drop the Sports Chrono.
Drop illuminated Door Sill
Add GT Silver
Dropp all the Red stitching stuff as with GT Silver the standard stitch is perfect.
Et voila!

I was told no more PTS for 2015 builds. I had a november build, entered my PTS order and it switched to February - and then 2 weeks later Porsche came back and said no more PTS.
After much deliberation I went with Agate Gray. I'm still on the fence with it as no color has me really sold. GT Silver is great but not worth 3k since I won't get it back in resale.
Well just to keep all of you updated today was the final day and I really had a hard time choosing between white and red. So I decided on the Guards Red. Well my delivery date is Nov 21 here in Los Angeles so I can't wait. Now all I have to do is count the days. BTW I kept the PCCB and front axle lift and ended up adding the seat backs in leather. Probably spent money I won't get back but I surely will enjoy myself.
Also I removed the painted key option and bought the covers from ebay. Has anyone installed those and if so how are they and are they easy to install?
Thanks
