I've got a couple of questions...
1. Does anyone know how to clean alcantara? Are you guys using the leather conditioner on the alcantara or is there something else?
2. I know that this has been beaten to death but when are you guys getting your first oil changes? I'm at apx 600 miles and have been getting up to 7.5k revs on occasion. Thanks in advance! ps. Great SB last night. It's going to be a long 8 months until the next game. |
Damp clean clothe. Very dry. Wipe only one way.
Oil changes always at 2k kms. Don't be a pussy. My GT3 explored 9k multiple times on the way home from the stealer. Once the oil is warmed up, she's ready to go. |

Can you use regular wheel cleaner for the satin like finish on the rims?
Thanks in advance |
Thanks for the advice. I may have to check out the Sonax.

Money2536, yes please let us know how you get on with the sonam cleaner.
OP, at the moment I'd stick with a damp cloth and gentle dab down rather than harsh rub down on the alcantara. I'm at 1450 miles and intend getting an oil change in the next 300 miles or so. I'm just sticking to what I've done with all my previous 911's. Having stated that, even my mechanic th is it's not necessary. |
