RS's LIGHTWEIGHT LITHIUM ION (40Ah) BATTERY

Just want to ask you guys who have this on their GT cars. As this is an optional item & I just want to know if & when the battery dies & like all things in life it has a shelf life. Do you replace it with the same battery or you just change to a normal battery. It has tremendous weight saving of 13.5kg as claim by Porsche. Cheers mate!
