Oddly, I've been on 6speed for close to 10 years now but this is my first Porsche. I pick the car up tomorrow but it's an optioned out 2015 GT3 in carrera metallic white. It took me a while to find the right car, but I was specifically looking for a white one with black wheels, carbon fiber sport buckets, PCCBs, red gauges and an internal cage. The option list is long on this one, but to me those were the most important things.
Can't wait to pick it up? Part of the delay is the vehicle is being CPO'd.
Congrats, beautiful GT3! I just picked up my white '15 GT3 this week, but it took 3 other 911s for me to finally get my dream car... After having 2 997s (Carrera and Turbo) and 991.1 C2S, the GT3 is in a whole other category of awesome! Can't wait to hear your impressions after the RPM passes 6k, its insane. I wanted the buckets as well, and they look amazing from outside the car and are much more comfortable than I thought they would. I definitely wouldn't want to daily the car with the carbon buckets though, a bit difficult to get in and out of "easily". Really like the black wing, contrasts nicely!
Congrats to you. I'm wondering how they can cpo a car when it was heavenly tracked, had two wires sticking out of the top of the dashboard for a electronic connection as well as two wire connections sticking out of the back for the same thing. And having a aftermarket front lip. I'm hoping they also put fresh tires on your car as they were bad when we looked it. I'm just throwing this out there for you because I'd hate for you to be deceived by a salesman b4 you spent your hard earned money. Not trying to bash as I'm very happy you finally bought your car but just informing you of what we observed and they may have removed those items. I passed on that one after two minutes of looking at it to give you a idea. But if you just want it to track then you should have no problem. PM me if u have any questions.
