997.2 GT3 RS and Non-RS front lip spoiler? Are they different?
 

Hey guys, got a 2011 997 Non-RS and my lower spoiler is scratched up. Dealer has them on backorder and no idea when they will get a restock (estimated time 2020). Looking at it scratched up is killing me on an immaculate car and I want to get a new one on there.

I found a RS version of the spoiler. Does anybody know if that will work on a Non-RS version? Are they different?

As far as I know the GT3, RS and CUP lip all fit the gt3 bumper. The cup lip is even lower than the other two, but made of PU and more flexible (and cheaper). Did you check suncoastparts?? I think they have the lips in stock.

I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think the RS front lip would fit perfectly on a base GT3 because the RS has the fender flares. So the corners of the lip might be wider to accommodate the flares

I use the cup version, on a base gt3, i like it, and it is a little wider in the rear section,corners, nice and flexible

I second Broncozx - I buy the cup spoilers in 3 packs (~$1000). If you tear one up you can lay the replacement in the sun and let it soften up then replace it extremely easily!
