Are those just the CGT seats with alcantara?
do we ever!!!!!!
you could get them aftermarket right???
yes but no ETA. all new seats are going into new cars for now.
Will these seats fit in a 996 GT3? If so, I might wait until these are more readily available.

Those seats and that interior are so sick, shame its not an option :(
Those seats are sweet....my imagination thinks that going around corners and being held in comfortably with those style seats in your Porsche is a very nice thing. Make these seats in all Porsches please.....
Tante Grazia Ferdinand..BTW, can you hear me>>?? ;-) |
Why is it those seats were DOT approved for the CGT but not for anything else? Is it because there is no recline or way for them to tilt forward? Seems crazy as they are so sweet! Would love them in my 996, even though it doesn't match the vintage.
I'm not sure, but probably because Porsche didn't want to crash test another car with a pair of these seats to satisfy DOT. Same situation with the hole in the 997 GT3.
We don't need these seats in our Gt3's, we already have them in Europe:D
On a serious note though. I guess it's probably the only thing that we can brag about, haha (oh wait we can get polycarbonate rear windows for the RS too, woohoo). |
