Congrats to you guys!!! Great race, watched the whole thing. Was even hanging around your spot in the paddock for a while. Great weekend overall!!! J Kelley |
awesome! Congrats guys. BTW, what happened to the Dymags? Not quite up to the rigors of competition?

Thanks Scott The Dymag are perfectly fine- as you know racing its all about sponsors and this year HRE stepped up and we put a great program together with them. The Dymags have been great and we have been running them on our 996 WCGT3 Cup.. SCCA has not "officially" allowed them into the series yet. Last year asked for forgiveness when we ran them, this year we have to ask for permission :) ;) We are working with SCCA to get the wheels completely legal and homologated. Depending on which car we run at the festival of speed at the end of the month you will most likely see them in competition again!! |
gmg runs $h**

Congrats. I went by your on Friday paddock but I don't think you were around. The car looked great!

Hey Scott,

Ya they arent legal "yet" :) But we are working on it. |
Congrats...can't wait to see the race on SpeedTV!
|
Hey Fabryce and Zona, thanks for clearing that up for me. It's a sign of relief honestly, because I'm a big fan of them and have to admit I was a little disappointed at the thought that they might not be as good as I had hoped, because as we all know unsprung weight is a very difficult place to save weight but is one of the most important as far as handling, breaking etc. I'm glad my fears were null and void. Also, congrats on having HRE step up to the plate with sponsorship. Good luck on getting the Dymags homologated for one of the cars.

Congrats. How did Randy do?
|
Congrats to the entire GMG team!

Fabryce,
Thanks for the info. It still amazes me that this race series that allows tube chassis and modified uni-bodies cars to race in the same category, can't figure out that the advantages of properly made carbon would benefit everyone involved. I smell a metal wheel manufacturer conspiracy!hilarious See you in Long Beach- -z
