Rokckit... I agree with the music and video but for graphics the PC is as good if not better machine. I use Photoshop, AfterEffects, Combustion, and 3DS Max daily and the PC kicks major ***.

justin it's actually very helpful -- it's a computer break from GT's.

 

The uprated G4 Powerbooks came out today, 1.5Ghz, more of everything. Looks like G5 laptops may arrive this year, most likely early next, so if you want to go Mac Rockit, today is a good day.
BTW, with the new tax breaks on busines equipment it is 100% deductible.......trying to persuade my CPA the GT3 is business equipment too, but she's not having any of it!!

Where did you hear about the G5 Laptop coming out? It makes no sense for apple to do this since the cooling fans on the desktop G5 version are monstrous. It is impossible right now to cool a G5 processor in such a small titanium case. They would have to go to liquid cooling, but that doesnt seem so likely since it would cost too much money. Just curious to where you heard G5 laptops are arriving this year? Link? or is it just your hunch?
