997 GT3 Vs E92 M3 Video!!!!

But you're right heavychevy, that is a dumb measurement to compare.
Cheers!
Some are coining the E92 M3 CSL as faster than the GT3 already, and there is no info on the car except some spy pictures from the ring. Of course all these are M3 guys. But this car will weigh in the 3500-3600 lb range, they will have to do lots of work to get it down. Of course the GT3 isnt exactly anorexic at 3200+ lbs.
The CSL isnt heavily modded, it's tons lighter and more track focused. With a good driver (if it follows the same trend as the E46 CSL vs GT3), it will be a formidable opponent for a GT3. The E46 M3 CSL ran a 7:50 at the ring, which is very much so competitve for the 996 GT3.

Well when they (E92 CSL's) show up at the corner BMW store let me know. What I meant is that a US spec car with mods is still not going to be much trouble for the GT3.

I like to see the comparison between new M3 vs 997S. At least both has 4 seats.
They are in KPH not MPH, that is 50-74 MPH. It is likely a 6th gear accleration test.
I.E. the only possible way they could find that the M3 could win something.
