The shifts were slow because instead of keeping the gas pedal floored and pulling on the lever he would let off the gas a bit first and casually shift.
When I'm in my full all out assault in the LP I keep the gas pedal down and power shift with the paddle but for 75% of my driving a slightly let go of the gas then paddle re-apply gas (manual motion)

I tested my 06 Gallardo speedo against a GPS.....it is off by 10%, so deduct 35 kph which would put the top end at around 195 mph. Not a bad run though, just over a minute from zero to vmax.
I calculated around 183 mph. If you look at the trip meter in the car and used the video clip clock. You can get an idea of how many KM the car was doing per minute.

I was talking to Patrick, Houston Larmborghini and he was telling me that depressing the gas pedal through shifting is what causes wear and tear on the clutch. He told me that the driver needs to keep the gas pedal engaged pressed down) all the time when shifting. Correct me otherwise. Thanks.

The guy in the video is shifting slow on purpose, there's no need to have split second shifts when you are just try to achieve a fast top speed like that... So you have to compare apples to apples. If it's quick shifts you are looking to compare with a G and an F, then that should be the specific task and then you will see... I'm not saying one or the other is better, i'm just saying make it apples to apples...
That being said, that guy was going smokin' fast for a long time, I hope he knew in advance that there were no corners, becuase i'd hate to take a corner at 190mph+...
