WTB: 04-06 Gallardo

Either E-Gear or Manual. Any color except Black. I also have a Meteor Gray 997TT w/ 3500 miles that I can trade + cash but don't have to.

Nothing wrong. I love my TT but just want to get into a gallardo for a change. I am also new to Lambo cars so I am doing some research at the same time.

You shouldn't have a problem finding an 04-06 G. A quick check of ebay or the dupont registry should give you about a dozen results, easy.

I'm also looking into a used G. Based on what I've been hearing, the 05+ are much better cars than the 04's and worth the extra $$. Unless I'm mistaken, the 04 did not have the front lift kit and few had the clear engine bonnett because it was an option that wasn't introduced until late in the model year. Those are 2 features that I personally want which is why I'm looking for an 05+, in addition to the clutch problems that the 04 models had.

However, Gallardos have really taken it on the chin this past year and I really think we are going to see another sizeable drop in prices as the LP560 releases, and the overall auto market/economy continues to struggle.

I heard about those problems especially the transmission related. I found one locally 2004, E-Gear, Clutch just gor replaced, 4000 miles and $124,900. Sounds like a good deal?

I am still debating if I should pay more and get a 2006. Also debating If I should wait until the price drop when LP560 comes out. The options you mentioned are great especially the front lift kit.

Give Kevin at Cats Exotics a call. He was great for getting me into an '05 Gallardo and answering all my questions about other cars I had found.
