I'm in BIG trouble now !!!
 

I have a new 2009 C2S with PDK and Full Tubi Exhaust.....I have been having a blast with the car and love driving it and listening to the beautiful exhaust note.

Why am I in BIG trouble you ask ?? Well yesterday I had the chance to drive a Pearl Yellow Gallardo Spyder for the entire day. HOLY SH#T !!! Driving this car was unbelievable...I thought my Tubi had an aggressive sound....Well the exhaust in this thing was mind boggling...you could hear me coming from 1/4 mile away...the unbridaled power was amazing and the WOW factor is off the charts...I got no less than 50 thumbs up and 25 people asking if they could take a picture of "my car".

The only thing I did not like was the way the e-gear works..it is very jerky at times and there is some lag time on the upshift and the downshifting is very pronounced. The PDK is far superior to this. If this car ever gets a PDK-like system it would be indescribable.

On all other counts though this car is a winner and I can now understand why someone would spend that sort of money on a car.

the gallardo is a great car that can be used everyday.. I miss mine.

I know the feeling. After test driving an LP560 I sold my MBZ SL65 and bought the LP560. The only problem are the cars sitting in your blind spot to look at it, the guy on the freeway next to you trying to look at it and swerving back and forth in his lane, and sore thumb from givng back to all those going by with a thumbs up.

Your problems with the E-gear might depend on the year model?

ya i agree. i have an 06 and it is jerky at very slow speeds. once you pick up some speed the jerkiness vanishes. also the time-lag on the shifting only happens when you accelerate really fast from slow speeds. it doesnt happen when the shifting is from gradual speed increase.

the noise the gallardo is pure awesomeness.
