Last night the pride of the Bologna Police force, their Lamborghini Gallardo, was crashed on its way to an exhibition in Cremona.

Reports are saying that the Lamborghini Gallardo Polizia was cut up by another car that was leaving a service station forcing the Gallardo Polizia into a row of parked cars.

what a shame :[, such a great car, but as long as no one was hurt, that is all that matters. A car can be replaced, a persons life, not so much

That's a shame - Guess it gives Lambo a reason to give them an LP-560 now...

I don't really see the point of why they got this car in the first place. I mean you wouldn't want to hit someone with it if you're in pursuit, and you can't put anyone ni the back seats cause there are none, and if you need a speedy transplant done that's where helicopters come in. Can anyone fill me in on this?

 

I don't see the point of Lambo police cars in Italy. Why don't they just make super fast regular police cars? Or make all the police cars Lambos =))

Ah... see but this is the great thing about Italy. Making sense has nothing to do with it. They just have a Lambo because it's cool!

Only country in the world I've ever had a policeman waving at me to drive faster (and I was already 40kph over the speed limit).

 

Sucks but bound to happen to a lambo police car! I was expecting a high speed "chase"
