Hey bozi check out our Carbon Fiber Maxflo exhaust system for your 2006 Gallardo.

Our high performance Maxflo exhaust system saves 46lbs/21kg from the rear of your Gallardo and increases power by +28HP. This system will work with the factory catalytic converters or add Fabspeed's 200 cell, German imported sportcats for a more even more power and sportscar sound. Check out this video of a 2006 Gallardo on our dyno, towards the end of the video is a street test which really demonstrates the aggressive tone of our Carbon Fiber Maxflo exhaust system.

I would go with either a Larini or a LOC exhaust! PM me if you need detail information.

On our shop '05 Gallardo, we're currently running Tubi Muffler with Fabspeed cat by-pass pipes and I can honestly say the sound is absolutely perfect! At higher rpm's and under heavy throttle the sound is EXACTLY what you'd expect to hear from an Italian supercar. High-pitched, aggressive, yet totally manageable to around-town driving. Here's a clip of the car.

Not the best video I know. The microphone crackled a bit too much. But the car's here at the shop, so if you give me a call I'll take it outside and let you hear it over the phone for yourself.
Honestly the key to making Lambos sound good is not necessary opening up the exhaust entirely. They rely pretty heavily on backpressure for power, so opening the exhaust up too much will cause you to lose power, and will yield a bit too much of a musclecar type sound. The key is finding mufflers that will give it that exotic sound while keeping enough backpressure to avoid hindering performance. In my opinion Tubi does a great job of this.

i have a 06 white, and i currently running Tubi Muffler with Fabspeed cat by-pass pipes, just installed last week by Rennsport-1, the sound is amazing, go with it, is perfect for the Gallardos.
I would think Kreissieg for the F1 sound too, but they weigh as much as stock and cost a mint when you get them with the 02 bypass pipes.
I would think that the Tubi / Fabspeed setup is not CEL friendly without a tune as well.

I think the Fabspeed system is good, it's very lightweight, reasonably priced, and has dyno-verified power gains. I would get their sport cats, air intake, and ecu tune as well for maximum power increase
I like my Tubi, here it is on the dyno, with cats..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjsG3mGilto if you want louder get the fabspeed bypass..
Yes the Carbon fiber Maxflo muffler will not set off the C.E.L. This muffler will bolt directly to the stock catalytic converters or you can substitute our 200 cell per square inch sport catalytic converters for even more power and sound. If you want the loudest, meanest, most intoxicating Gallardo, pair the exhaust to our catbypass pipes or even better, no muffler what-so-ever. Check out this vid of a 2005 with catbypass and Maxflo mufflers.
