Thanks guys. I was going to change the wheels, but i think they look awesome. Car has adjustable suspension, so i will lower it.
As for performance, bone stock the run high 12's @ 112-113. Top Speed about 180mph.

IMO, that's one of the best looking cars ever made. It basically looks the same as it did 20 years ago, and it's still a head-turner. Much more so than our Turbos.
I test drove an '04 for grins. It's nothing compared to a 996 Turbo (while it's stock), but it's still sooooo much fun to drive. And the exotic feel is much better. You just feel like you're in something special. I really enjoyed it.
Nice car Allan!

Thanks guys. Yes, in stock form, the Esprit is nowhere near as quick as a TT, and the build quality of the Porsche is far superior, but the Esprit inmo, is just awesome to look at, and so much fun to drive. I also like the fact they are so rare.
I can't agree more. I've driven the same model Esprit several times and each time was very thrilling. Ferrari 360's are nice, but the rumble the lotus makes and the overall feel of the car is better IMO. The car is very solid. I liked the handling characteristics above it all. I don't know if it was just my driving style but I felt very adapted to the car.
i had two v8 esprits.... one ended up a lemon(1998 model- and then they gave me a 1999 model. I can they have great handling... but reliability is a major issue. I had a night mare with the esprit.
good luck...
good luck...

Good job moving this to the lambo forum. Makes a lot more sense here than with the SUV's in the 911 turbo forum.
