TwinTurboM3, the only reason why I have 4 posts is because I just bought my G last month and recently heard about this message board. I have been a member on clublexus.com and supraforums.com for many years. Like RAC3ME said, we're good friends and I use to work at one of their dental offices. Definitely no advertising here... Just very impressed.

Don't worry about Mert Dastan (aka Twin Turbo M3)...he has repeatedly been chastised and banned for obscene claims and shill advertising on BMW forums. He also has a laundry list of angry customers whose motors blew up or never made the power he claimed (and Mert wouldn't provide the dyno charts to support his HP claims).

Thanks 95RogueM3 for giving me the scoop on TwinTurboM3, however, I reread my post and I can see how someone could mistaken it as advertising.

In my profession, everything has to be accurate and precise (I wear dental loupes with a magnification of 4.0x). If something is off by 1mm or more, my patient will complain. That is why everything I do and see has to be detailed. When I met Taylor, whose personality is very similar to mine, I felt that I could relate to him. He is just as a perfectionist as I am. It is definitely hard to find that quality these days.

Seems a little strange to me also as you are putting the same post up on other forums.

What I love about this kit is the attention to fine details. I also got a ride in Taylor's TTG and was not only impressed with the power and speed, but the fact that there were no idle issues, no hesitation, no hiccups, etc...it drove like a stock car but with a lot more power. I have to admit, when I bought my Gallardo, I had no doubt in my mind that I was going to send it to UGR once I was ready to go TT. But now that I have seen the quality and craftsmanship of the Dallas Performance twin turbo kit, as well as the great service that Taylor and his crew provide, I guarantee my Lamborghini will be heading there.
As far as UGR and Dallas that you mentioned above, what kind of performance #s has Dallas logged? Like 60-130, 1/4 mile, standing mile, anything? Did you even ask? I went with UGR because of quality and performance being that they are the top dogs and no one else seems to even be remotely close to their performance #s. Either way, good luck with your build when the time comes.

Dude, give it a rest, as not EVERYONE wants a UGR kit. I love their work on Viper's (Walt's old 1500rwhp Viper is my personal favorite, now belongs to Kyle) and Gallardo's, but I also wouldn't want to ship my car to Charlotte, NC every time something broke. Sometimes it's nice to have the guy that built everything on the car, come over and take a look at it in person, the same day. Kevin can do his own marketing, you don't need to hop in other people's build threads to market his kit, and I can bet Kevin is too busy putting out cars to worry about a couple of stage 1 kits sold to local customers in Dallas.

Just a little clarification about your post. First, its very rare that there are any issues with any of the Underground Racing stage 1-3 Gallardos. Second, with the relationship we have with most Lamborghini dealers, IF there was any issue we would have a local Lamborghini dealer take care of it OR we would limitedly fly a tech out. Thanks.

Kevin, not a dig at UGR at all. On my turbo bike, when I heard a slight change in the idle, or any noise I didn't know or feel comfortable about, I loaded it on a truck and drove it 60 miles to the shop that built it. That was on a $15,000 motor/turbo build. If my $100,000 UGR build started doing that, you would block my cell number, with as much as I would call you. Sometimes it's nice to have someone local, and I know you can appreciate that.

Look forward to meeting you in April at TI!

Ugh more UGR crap. Can't we just leave this thread to the shop building this car?

while UGR may post in this thread to correct information provided by members this thread is not his to promote in or for S-351 to continually take off topic...it is about a members build and if you are not interested in that specific build then stay out of it and start your own thread regarding UGR

I have done several high hp motorcycle builds and what matters is who you like and who you trust. I am sure DP and UGR both do great work. Matter of fact from the pictures that were posted by S-351 it would be hard for me to pick one. I would call each shop and see who I LIKE the best and that's who would get my money. Dyno numbers are only numbers and used for tuning purposes only. 1/4 times and such is what says it all to me.
