18" wheels anyone??

Anyone have, or thought of going with an 18" wheel on a Gallardo as opposed to going up a size to 20" from the factory 19's?
As long as it isn't a stepped wheel, I don't think it will appear too small aesthetically, and can only benefit with the shedding of some extra weight as well..

Yes, they will. I believe ADV has done 18's on an R8, and Gallardo, which share exact same brake components.

If you were looking to track the car, going with a lighter wheel would definitely be a benefit. Jongbloed Racing built custom race wheels for the GT-R to go down in size from stock, so we could definitely get a set built for a Gallardo. The big thing would be just measuring the calipers to make sure you have sufficient clearance.
Also, you might have more tire options in 18" vs 19", and more tire would mean smoother ride as well...
