Drove Atomic Z's UGR TT yesterday
Correct sir. Audi only option right now. Beefed up version of the box in the current RS5 and the all new RS4 I would think. What's funny is you can still only spec a 2012 online. Must be trying to clear the shelves.
To hold the power of an R, Underground uses a triple carbon tilton clutch. In an egear this makes daily driving a little bit of an adventure. So I opted for a lesser clutch that makes the egear happy but limits me to 1250 whp.
I will admit on occasion that I miss the extra 300hp but I'm quickly reminded why I went this direction when I am sitting in stop and go traffic.
I have over 1700 miles on the Stage 3 this year and the car has been flawless.

you must have come out ok selling your old car and picked your new car up at the right price. I would think turning the boost down on your old car and swapping to a more street clutch would have been the way to go. We all probably figured Underground would come out with a streetable clutch for more power in the future so you could have just swapped clutches again and turned it up but either way, it seemed to have worked out for you! Props again, its one of the sickest TTG's Ive seen!
I did not get rid of the old car for any other reason than I originally wanted a white Superleggera. Could not find one originally - did a white Gallardo. Found white SL - bought it. Sold old car. Simple as that.
Underground has developed a couple of clutches since my car was done that hold more power while keeping the egear happy for daily driving.
The old car was an '07 6 speed with a tilton. It drove like stock at any power level. Very impressive to say the least. Getting stuck in traffic was never an issue.

Also kind of off topic, but these cars pass inspection no problem right?

Makes sense.
Whats your overall impression of manual vs egear at the 1250 power level?
My understanding is Underground can make them pass on pump gas. We do not have to get inspected in MN so I do not know for sure.
Either tranny works very well at these power levels.
It (These UGR TT Lambos) is just so damn impressive all the way around; Looks, feel, quality of everything (thank you VAG), and then there is that sound and performance. Very unreal even for the most jaded performance junky. Feels as if you are on the back of a Busa but sitting backwards and have your eyes closed, the sensation is that remarkable when boost is turned up ! Eric is the MOST GRACIOUS owner you will ever meet, taking time to show it to people and give rides, etc. Great Automotive stuff, Indeed !
I see what you mean
But I quite enjoy browsing the forums. I would consider myself a forum *****.
BTW, AtomicZ you coming to SEMA?
We will have the UGR Aventador in our booth.
