Are ex-porsche TT drivers?

It seems there are a lot of us. I had a 993TT Arena Red
Kills Bugs Fast!

 

i know alot of people here that want one.

 

I am but I will return to the Porsche world either with another 996TT or a 993TT along with the Gallardo

 

I am not, but really want a TT. probably 997TT when its out.

 

do you regret swapping the TT for a Gallardo? if so, pls explain

 

don't regret just would like to have both

 

So far,the Gallardo seems like the perfect upgrade from the TT.The biggest difference is that at higher speeds the Gallardo feels much more stable than the Porsche did.But like vipertestarossa when I find some more garage space there will be another TT parked next to my carrera cab.

 

Own both!!!!

i dont think gallardo is an upgrade from 996tt. especially when you compare the reliablitly factor especially on a a tuned 996tt. Im still waiting to pick up a gallardo soon as i find the right one, but it wiil NOT be replacing my 996tt!!

Tell me more about the SE.. That car really intrigues me.. Any noticable improvements of the original Gallardo that you can elaborate on?

 

I can't compare the 996tt to the Gallardo,I drove a 1 owner 993TT basically stock with the exception of fabspeed muffler bypass.

And I will easily stand behind the statement that the Gallardo is a serious upgrade to the 993TT in every category that matters to me.It's a much easier car to drive fast.It sounds better.The brakes are probably about equal.In 6th gear,you can mash the gas pedal and it takes off.The torque the engine generates is impressive.

The only downside to the Gallardo has been the fact that the car is like a celebrity.Every time I take it on the road,people with camera phones are snapping pics.Stop for fuel and you will draw a crowd..etc.

 

I will consider Gallrado is a upgrade from 996TT. After spending couple days in the G. Speed is not the only thing to upgrade your car. Even my current stage 2 TT can out run the G. If you only need speed, get a viper TT or keep mod the 996TT. The G is the whole package for driving experiance.
