I am looking to get another car and I love the way the Gallardo looks.Have not had the chance to drive one yet. Coming from a gt700 996tt would I be pleased with the performance,handling, and just everyday driving.

You are going into a slower car in terms of acceleration from what you are used to but I think comfort and reliability are going to be the same if not better. Be ready for ALOT more attention than the Porsche. Go try one out, I think you'll like the overall experience. :)

As fas as handling, braking, comfort, fit & finish you will absolutely love the car. Obviously you like the looks or else you would not be considering it. The only question is raw speed, which I find completely acceptable even compared to my GT2. What some might find is the lack in down right huge power but it handily makes up for it in absolute presence. The cars get an absurd amount of attention, so be prepared. The mechanical/exhaust sound of the car no 911 could ever match. Drive one is the best suggestion.
