The MY06 (I believe it's 06) and up have a feature that lifts the nose up when you press a button in order to clear bumps and driveways. What year is it?

The front-lift system was introduced with the MY05 cars.

On a side note, I understand tough driveways...my 04 G (which has no lift system) just clears mine by less than 1-inch.

thanks guys for all the comments.
His gallardo is 05, but maybe it is an 04 model and sold as 05 in Indonesia.
And there is no lift up button.

I have an 06 with the lift and cannot imagine not having it. I use the button 10 times in a 20 minute city ride. Can't clear anything without it.

if he can afford to buy a lambo in indonesia, he can for sure afford to have his driveway reconstructed.

The front-lift was only std. equipment in the US...
In Europe/Middle East, it is still an extra charge option

I heard of someone who put an aftermarket airbag system on an early diablo to accomplish the same thing. It was very expensive but was much more reliable than the stock systems on the diablos. Gil's post is a testament to Audi improvement because if you used the lift system on an older lamborghini 10 times in a short period, it would fail very quickly. Your friend's car looks great but if he really needs it, it will probably be cheapest to sell the current one and buy one with the option. My 04 does not have it and I have only scraped it once. The previous owner scraped it more frequently from the look of the very bottom of the bumper (impossible to see from standing height). Some race suspensions are electronically adjustable but rarely for ride height, moreso for stiffness.

I have a solution for your friend....in 2-3 weeks we will have Skid Plates available for the Gallardo. CNC machined from black UHMW plastic, and easily mounted to the bottom of your front bumper facia, our skid plates will prevent scraping/scratches on your painted surfaces. For more information or to pre-order, feel free to email me at AdvancedMobileGroup@yahoo.com
