I went down a rabbit hole and retrofitted PCM 4.0 into my 981S. Cost way more than I first thought. Since I have Bose I had to get new speakers and aftermarket amp and a MOST interface since PCM 4.0 is 150 vs PCM 3.1 Most25. Part of the conversion is to update the cluster software. So when I did that the Adapter no longer worked since the cluster was looking for 718 info. Had to get a 718 clockspring which made the adapter unnecessary.
