Maserati Paint Protection (WITH VIDEO)
Maserati was founded on December 1st, 1914 in Bologna, Italy. Currently headquartered in Modena, and currently owned by the Fiat Group, Maserati is known for it’s blend of luxury and performance. In 2007 Maserati introduced the GranTurismo, which has long since been praised as being a car that can be used every day, with superb handling and a comfortable captivating ride. Powered by a Ferrari designed 4.2L V8 that makes 405Hp and 339ft lb of torque. One of MotorTrend’s editors, when talking about the GranTurismo said, “It is, literally, a gran tourer. It is not a sports car…the big Maserati does not like to be hurried…It’s best to back off to eight-tenths or less and go with the flow of the road.” – Angus MacKenzie. This 4,300 lb machine wasn’t meant to be thrashed around a corner, rather driven on a nice twisty road. Cars like this, that see a lot of scenic driving need to keep their paint protected. The owner of this GT came to XPEL for some serious coverage. We applied our Ultimate Self-Healing film to: the front bumper, hood, front fenders, mirrors, doors, rocker panels, roof, rear fenders, and headlights. This car is ready for some twisty roads. Check out the installation video and photos below.
