Hello all,

I'm looking into a new daily and am looking at a 09 QP 4.2 since I hear the ZF tranny is better and I prefer the facelifted QP vs the previous models.

Is there any issues should be aware of? suspension, engine transmission?

Cant seem to find too much information on these cars.

What kind of maintenance do these cars require if I daily drive it and put on about 15k miles a year?

I'm coming from a MB E350 4matic and its a bit too boring.

Please advise, looking to do some research before committing to a QP since everyone is telling me they cost and arm and a leg to maintain outside of warranty.

 

Ball joints (suspension clunk), steering rack leaks, window regulators go bad, drive shafts are known to go out here and there. Oh, and The buttons inside get sticky. I have an 09 QP GTS. Fun car but understand you WILL be spending money to run it.
