GMP Performance's Foreign Cars Italia Performance Package for Maserati Ghibli
This 2016 Maserati Ghibli had less than 30 miles on the odometer before being upgraded by GMP Performance.
The plus size wheel and tire package extends the wheel spokes one inch over the largest diameter size offered by the factory of 21". The exact wheel dimensions are 22x9.0 in the front and 22x11 in the rear with a more aggressive offset to fit the oversized fenders while maintaining a factory turning radius with no rubbing. The tires are 255x30x22 and 295x25x22 and were road force mounted and balanced and filled with nitrogen for a sub 100db ride quality.
The suspension has also been improved lowering the vehicle's center of gravity by 1.5", improving cornering and flattening chassis movement during braking and acceleration. An available ECU reprogram squeezes an additional 110hp and 88 ft/lb at 4,000 rpm from the stock twin turbo 3.0L V6 while improving fuel mileage by 10%. A stainless steel exhaust system increases air flow and adds a noticeable yet civilized rumble to the rear section of this luxury sedan.
