Pricing on used 2012 McLarens

I was wondering what people are paying for used 2012 McLarens when bargaining with dealerships.

I'm looking at 2012 McLarens with or without the extras and wondering what I should be offering dealers as opposed to letting them dictate pricing. I'm currently looking at models with 4000-6000 miles and with and without the special packages.

Thanks!

You need to wait until the Geneva Autoshow before you start shopping. Now is the wrong time to go on a lot and select a car that may be 10k less the day after the show. It is rumored that the 12c replacement/upgrade is going to debut.

Reviving this thread...

With the 650s announcement and the end of the 12C production, has there been significant drop on the prices on 12C 2012 and 2013 models?

I might be in the market for one (in the near future).. :-)

If you look at the prices on cars.com the answer is yes. Falling fast.

You can get some cars in the low 170's without any options, and the color choices are not the best. I personally don't like silver and the gray. The cars that have nice options are still holding their price.

Depending on the options you a re looking at 170 to 200.

Reviving this thread again now in 2016...the MP4 12C seems to be depreciating like a bag of bricks thrown in a lake...that might be a good thing for those looking to get a McLaren and a huge disappointment for those who bought one when they first arrived.

Here are my questions:
-Prices don't appear to be at the bottom...I'm in no rush as I am only in consideration mode and could wait.
-How is this car to maintain on an annual basis? It would be a weekend toy and not more than 3K per year.
-What should one be looking out for buying one of these used?
-I suspect there are currently no CPO programs so what was the new car warranty on these?
-Are the new ones that much more improved AND if yes how so?

Any insight would be appreciated and if there is another forum or other threads addressing this please point me in the right direction.

I have a 12c. Very reliable, and the the prices for low mileage cars on in the 160 to 170 range for 12's or 13's. Warranty would be good, but you can buy two years if the warranty is out. Again they are built well. If you are looking for a 12c, make sure you get the original sticker so you know what you are getting with options. There is a huge difference, with cars that have lots of carbon fiber, which is nice.

Super light wheels are the best and most expensive. The 650 is not a huge improvement over the 12c except for looks. They are both fast and smooth as hell.

If you have more detailed questions, feel free. By the way the car as amazing
