2. The clutch is a real bugger without a 2 post lift and tranny jack and support tree. You could probably do it on a 4 post as well. I can't remember if I posted the walkthrough on 6speed, but I know I did on rennlist (under username Porschedoc). It was pretty much bolt by bolt, but on a 2 post lift. I know of a few people that have done it in jackstands with a lot of help, but I wouldn't recommend it, there would need to be a LOT of muscle involved. I would start calling around to independent P-car shops and see what kind of labor deal they might give you. I wish I knew someone down in that area that could help you out!
For some reason I didn't get a notification, so sorry for the late reply.
1. This issue is intereting. I assume this only happens when you fill gas? After that initial 10 minutes, then it is fine until you fill up again? I assume there are no engine codes either. I haven't seen this problem before, but the first place I would start would be checking the fuel pump assembly and lines inside the tank (access in the front trunk compartment). There was a tsb about the lines not allowing to fill the tank properly, but maybe there is a connection problem with the fuel pump that is getting distrupted somehow. Have you done the fuel filter recently? You might want to change that as well (pretty easy and is by the coolant tank).
