(msg 2/2) If you have time/inclination to discuss, i'd be very interested in talking to you about your experience. We need someone who has been through the problem and who would be willing to represent the other Colorado consumers affected by the same problem. FYI, my primary purpose at this point is to gather more information from Colorado Cayenne owners with the coolant problem, both to educate myself as a new owner and also to see if there is some way to get legal recourse for Colorado owners. However, because there's a possibility that this message could lead to our firm representing you or someone you know as a class representative, Colorado's legal ethics rules require that I advise you that this is an "advertisement".

Anyway, if you'd like to discuss any of the above, including if you have a good suggestion for a repair shop (I heard 3zero3 is great), I can be reached at sdehoff76@gmail.com. I can't PM b/c of my post count, but shoot me an email.

    Best,
    Steve

Hey, I just read about your ordeals with the Cayenne. Apologies for the long message, but I'm a new owner ('05 CTT) and I'm scheduling my my coolant repair this week to get out in front of the problem. I love the truck so far, but don't want to have it fail on me, or (worse) my wife.

Anyway, I also happen to be a lawyer in Denver. I was talking to the managing partner of my firm about the issues that I'd read about and he mentioned a former law partner that had the same problem. Maybe things happen for a reason, but it happens that my firm has significant experience in class action work, including a large automobile case pending right now. We spent some time researching the legal issues, and we are considering bringing a Colorado class action very similar to the ones in NY and CA, basically to force Porsche to pay for the coolant system repairs. He already posted on the message thread (EngineRoom), but I thought I'd reach out to you directly. (cont'd)...
