Are the 991 clear tail lights still for sale?

I have used the Cobb in very extreme track environments. The only precaution that I use is to run a few octane above the map selected. So, if I run a 93 map, I use fuel rated at 96 to be extra safe against detonation. I have analyzed my engine and found very small timing corrections at full throttle. The tune will smooth out the throttle and may rid your car of the stumble.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm starting to shift around the vibration now and I suppose I'll get passed the aggravation of it in time. I've been around aviation on and off and have actually seen a placard stating that "continuous operation at XYZ is to be avoided". That was a good example to make.

The stumble is of course something that I can't shift around. I had a 2015 Subaru WRX that did the same thing. I've considered the Cobb access port. Do you feel it's safe? I have limited understanding of what all is effected and how if I'm being honest. I just want to be sure there's still plenty of "safety room" where those adjustments are made.

Thanks for your time. You've been very helpful and I'm grateful.

    Hi Frank,

My name is Jason Gammel. I found some posts you had made in a thread concerning a 991 vibration noise around 3200 rpm. Just a few months ago I purchased a cpo'd 2014 911 3.4L. After the first couple of months I developed the same vibration. I noticed in your last post you were having the same issue with a brand new 2016. Are you still having the issue? I've had someone mention valve lash when it goes into high lift but that's what they told me about the "stumble" I'm having which occurs before 3200 rpm. Plus, if I'm going up a hill under load at that rpm it'll make the noise continuously. I'm having a hard time accepting the "this is normal operation" response for several reasons, besides common sense.

I was just wondering if maybe you had some more insight as this is very frustrating. I saved a lot of pennies for a long time for this car so yeah... frustrating.

Thank you for any feedback you may have.

    Jason Gammel
