Hey Mike a Jeremys a friend here in Nashville mentioned that you had a good rotor replacement solution that was economical. I was about to buy some girodisc's as replacements for my stock 996tt rotors. Any suggestions? Mainly club road course use. Have you heard of anyone using Cayenne Calipers? I have heard that the solid Rotors will fit but I am curious about another option besides the 997 6 pot caliper as an upgrade.

Mike, I am changing the clutch slave in my 2001 996 tt and have not been able to find your DIY on it. Please send me a link. Thanks, Dan

Mike (this is gbhstrat - my name is actually Bruce), you just sent me a PM about the Coleman rotors. you are totally right on. I can't respond to your PM because I don’t have the required 15 posts. Can you drop a note at gbhstrat at yahoo.com so I can correspond with you - thanks

Doug, I'm not sure anyone else has posted much data. What I can tell you is this: In an "unverified" ( I didn't keep my timeslip, but someone else got it with MY CAR NUMBER ON IT, DATED and TIMED properly and scanned and sent it to me) run at MIR, my car ran 11.24 @ 127mph. There are a number of guys on here who flipped out because I didn't "have" the timeslip myself, so I told them to suck balls and didn't bother playing...

My car is making right at 540WHEEL HP on 93 Octane and 575WHP on 100 Octane. The car would be capable of 10s with the right tire combo and driver. I'm a road racer, not a drag racer and all my data (I use a traqmate which is more a roadracers timing tool) shows that the car is easily capable of low 7s in the 60-130 range. The car is extremely fast and I've dropped some modded K24 cars. Kevin's "stuff" is the real deal... Only other shop I'd consider is Protomotiv!

1/4 mile performance question for you, when you have a min... Considering a refurb/re-sale K16/24 ZC set up from Kevin, and would prob go with the SpeedTech exhaust. I've researched many of the hybrid turbo threads, and looked 1/4 mile sticky, but don't remember seeing your name come up anywhere in regards to 1/4 and trap. I'm wondering what 1/4 mile times and trap speed you've made in your car, and what range you've seen from others with a similar setup?

Doesn't seem to be too much logged data here recently on zero clearance stuff now days.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best Regards,
