    Thanks Raphael,
The kind of info you offer re Black Forest is important because if you don't get good upfront service why give them your business. Dieter's is closest to me so maybe I will start with them.
I'm doing an autocross there next weekend with the BMW club.
I'm signed up with SD PCA for their Driver's Ed at Auto Club Speedway Fontana on Monday, June 15th. Check it out - they are pretty fussy with rules (I have to buy a installed fire extinguisher and flash my ECU back to stock) but it should be a good day.
Before I arrived here I was introduced to Speed Ventures (http://www.speedventures.com/events/Default.aspx) and if you haven't heard of it (probably have) they offer lots of cool track stuff. I
Good luck with your track event search and try some of the other clubs so you can pick your events when it suits you.
Thanks again for the email, a friendly car guy when you're in a new city is appreciated.

I am actually taking my TT to Pioneer Porsche this week for the 20K maintance. I dropped by and they gave me a tour and told me mods would present no issues when working on my car (totally opposite approach from my Canadian dealer!). They will even give me a free loaner - wow. I was very impressed (and relieved) and am glad to know you recommend them (customer's opinions are what counts).
I would like the ex-Pioneer mechanics contact info as it can be very useful to know someone like him at times - especially if you recommend him. I appreciate it.

Hey bud, thanks. Likewise. Pretty rare color we have...most are silver, grey, black, or white. When I saw the blue...I had to have it. If it weren't for this car, I probably wouldn't have a 911 right now.

Thanks man....I have some carbon weave left over from the splitter and have been considering it. The rear lights are going to get a light smoke to give them a different effect. Im in La Mesa...do you ever hit up the canyons in the 996?
