Not quite sure but they have been depreciating very quickly...I think the main problem is MB makes alot of them.

Why is this happening all of a sudden? Season? Hmm...

Not a recent phenomenon. AMG have always fallen hard and fast.

Not true. Years ago I used to drive them for a few months and flip them at MSRP. This is back in the days of long waiting lists.

My CL's value is still very good, AMG's fall hard...then again buy an M5/6 and go trade it in 60 days...wanna see down.

I think yours will continue to hold strong. Best current AMG IMO.

Coming off of a boom cycle and heading down the other side like we are it is normal for depreciation on all upper end used cars to be higher than "normal". Next 18 months will be a great time to shop for a higher end used car.

My E55 was one of my favorite cars I have ever owned, but also an expensive lesson in AMG economics. I always buy new cars, but I would consider buying a used AMG next time just to let someone else take that enormous initial hit.

Depends on which AMG model you are looking at but yes they do make WAY TOO MANY of them, especially the E55 IMO

Tru that. Buy preowned and you'll still get hit, just not as hard.

I went that route and bought a used '03 E55 a couple of years ago and it still took a big hit on the trade in.
