Wife's SL550 is showing higher miles on the trip meter than the odometer
 

I have leased a new SL550 for my wife in March of this year and I recently noticed that the trip meter is actually showing higher miles than the odometer(2678.3 VS. 2677). The car also shows previous damage to the front bumper that was poorly repaired which we found a few days after getting the car. The previous damage issue is currently being addressed but I am concerned about the trip meter/odometer discrepancy. Does anyone have any ideas on the possible causes of this other then someone messing with the odometer?

Isnt that trip meter and odometer pretty normal on many cars now a days?

Yes, most cars have both the trip meter and odometer. I am concerned because the trip meter is showing higher mileage than the main odometer which should not normally happen.
