Why would anyone spend money to slow down the acceleration of the car by adding weight,make handling worse (probably much worse), AND to top it all off ruin the elegance of a mercedes?...But i guess to each his own...Its just not my style to ruin cars haha...

 

seems like you guys know nothing about the Merc scene in Germany... They have been doing this for 20 or more years...

their last concern is driving comfort...

LOL. Well I know about MY Euro Scene. The two Germans in my driveway are both rocking tires that are the right width for the wheels on the car.

I think each and every one of those pics are just automotive abuse. To each their own, I guess.

He is right ... in Germany stretched tire and aggressive fitment is huge. Not all those wheels are my taste, but I definitely respect it. Not typical like here in the US. No disrespect to HRE but everyone that buys a benz or bmw that can afford it throws a set of those wheels on the car. Not very org. I can admit I too did the same thing (have DPEs on my car) but at least I worked out my own offsets and have the flushest set of 20s on any E9X.

The Black E55, Black CL with thin 5 spokes are my favorite...I'm not too fond of rims where the face takes up too much surface space

 

Exactly my thoughts, looks too much like a giant plate...wheel. The rest are not bad wheels to me but they ruin the elegance that a MB is supposed to exude.

 

I'm not the biggest fan but to each their own. Thanks for sharing.
