Actually, the generally accepted meaning of "deadstock" in the shoefiend world is a brand new, unworn pair of shoes, whether current production or past. Any pair of shoes that you could buy if you walked into a Champs or Finishline would be class'ed as DS if they were new & unworn. DS was a term co-opted from the retail clothing industry. Not sure of the exact definition there, so I'll let someone familiar with the retail clothing industry advise what DS means.

Axis, I'll have pics out to you shortly of the mostly size 12 Js that I have available (about 20 different pairs of originals and retroes total). Went late last night to storage, and just waking up here in San Francisco Bay Area.....

 

Oh, and I haven't been checking prices/values for the past 3-4 years on shoes, but some of the prices quoted here for Js are not realistic. Not pointing fingers, but I think you know who you are. Prices on Js certainly have gone up in that time, but I know that they haven't tripled or more.

I got a pair of black retro 5's yesterday. (3rd shoe 2nd row up) They just came back out.

Yep, original retro 3s from 1994. They are in PERFECT condition, with extremely minimal yellowing of the midsole (which is extremely common and frustrating with the retros 3s from '94). It's got the correct retro box, retro card and wrapping paper. Quite possibly the finest pair of size 12 retro 3s in existence, unless a collector out there hermetically sealed his 3s before any yellowing of the midsole happened.

All the other retros are first edition from '99 to '02. No reissues in the group. The 5s are original retros from '99-'00, not the recent reissues. The 14s are originals from '98. The 10s are originals from 1994.

 

what number are the ones in the bottom row middle? Those are my favorite jordans.
