O.A.R. @ Tweeter Center-NJ - 01/24/07

We had initially planned on using these tickets ourselves, but a change in plans might prevent us from doing so. I've got 2 tickets to see O.A.R. w/ Gomez at the Tweeter Center in Camden NJ on Wednesday January 24th at 7:30pm.

Seats are in Sectoin 104, Row A - FRONT ROW!

If anyone's interested, I'll let them go for $120. If you're local (I'm in South Jersey), I can meet up with you and give you the tickets in person.. Otherwise, I can take Paypal or a credit card, and FedEx you the tickets.

Thanks!

O.A.R. puts on a great show!

$120 for O.A.R. tickets???? I remember seeing them a few times 6-7 years ago, 3/4 packed audiences at $5/head.

Time have changed - OAR has got quite a big following these days, and the band has continued to raise prices each year.. I was supposed to go see them last summer, but I got such a crazy offer for my PIT seats ($650 for the pair!) that I sold them.

I'm actually trying to rearrange my schedule so I can go to the show, but the g/f is pretty pissed.

(I saw Beck at the Troc about 10 years ago for $6.. Saw him again a few months ago, and tickets were $85/ea!)

i had no idea. i don't hear them on the radio or anything. thought they were still just some college band playing Crazy Game of Poker in bars.

gmansbu 01-23-2007 12:54 PM

Call me ignorant, but who is OAR?

Officer Cartman 01-23-2007 07:21 PM

O.A.R. = Of A Revolution.

They sound a little like Dave Matthews Band. Steve's right, they don't get any radio play - I don't even hear them on Sirius. I kept hearing about them, so I decided to check out one of their albumbs, and I've been hooked ever since.

Cool band. Seen em a few times back in high school when they first came up......i would pay 120 for front row.....but i have reservations at Mixto this wed with my sister and bro in law that i cant change :(

I just saw them in Chicago on Friday night...best I've seen them play yet (5 times). In the four years I've been listening to them, their following has blown up, it's ridiculous. I would scoop these tickets up in a second if I were anywhere near there.

Bump for ya, and hopefully you get to go.

Officer Cartman 01-25-2007 04:50 PM

Since I didn't get any bites on the tickets, I re-arranged my schedule this morning, and I'm going to the concert tonight. Based on all the positive feedback I've heard about their live shows, I'm pretty psyched. Should be a good time!

How'd you like the show?

Officer Cartman 01-30-2007 08:36 AM

It was great! Gomez opened up for them, and they seemed to have a pretty strong following as well. But as soon as OAR came on stage, the place went absolutely nuts! They put on a really amazing performance live, and I'd definitely go see them again. My g/f had never heard their music before, but now she's hooked - She even updated her MySpace profile with an OAR song now. :)

The only downside was the weather - It was like 15 degrees the night of the show, and even though they enclosed the performance area, it was still cold as hell in there..
