the iphone is quad band, it will work in europe and the middle east but only with an att account. if you love the prada touchscreen you should try the iphone's, it is much better.

Ahhh - I get it: the iPhone is locked to ATT!!! Bastards...I guess I'll wait then till either they have unlocked ones or if Vodafone in the UK gets them

im pretty sure they have a exclusive contract with AT&T, so i dont think other carriers will be getting it anytime soon. so youre best bet is to wait for it to be released in the EU.

Vodafone NZ is expecting it end of the year, beginning of '08, if at all.

the phone is locked to ATT, but there are already websites out there for unlocking the phones. I suggest you visit this site. there are already a couple of Brits who have bought some, so it should be interesting to see if they are able to use it there. The one feature you for sure won't be able to use is the isual voicemail.
