Alex....why don't you join us for the Annapolis (11/3) meet instead. I know most of us are heading up there since we couldn't do it this week due to the weather.

I'd love to but I have Community Service in DC on Sat and Sunday

Man I don't even know how I'm gonna get to the Community Service now that they suspended my driving privilgedge has been suspended for 6 months. I guess I have to get my butt up early and drive out to Rosslyn and take metro and hop on a cab.

I would pospone it but they won't let me.

Have fun guys and stay safe...

Oh, I ran into a Murci today near my house on Loudoun Co. Pky and WALKED HIM good hilarious. I must admit that it was pretty scary reaching those speeds. Thank God Loudoun Co. Parkway is empty 98% of the times.

Man you have to check out Protomotive it's FUN.

Sat 11/3 Johnson's Steakhouse:

SORRY - MY GOOF on the calendar - should read 11/3 @ 8 am. I can't get to Annapolis Sat but have fun - need to be back for kids by noon. If anyone wants to join me, Johnson's is where I'll be before I hit Loudoun roads. Looking forward to catching up with the bigger group next time,

Alex

Perhaps introducing yourself would be a good start...I see you made a post in the Mid-Atlantic Greetings thread but it was basically the same thing you posted here...

Alex Lunsford Oct 29, 2007 08:40 AM

Quite right - Sorry for not introducing myself. I'm new here as you can tell. Live in Lansdowne, VA for 5 years. Been active in BMWCCA for 15 years (owned e30 318is, e36 M3 with some mods) and now a recent PCA member also with a new addition of an '00 996 C2 coupe with some appearance and sonorous mods. Been on tracks @ 15 days total and autocrossed @ 10 times in states and clubs where I've lived - CA, CO, and VA.

Have 3 little kids and a wife who is not fond on me skipping out on weekends, so I have to work hard to particpate and relish it when I can. I like to work on cars and appreciate people sharing what works / doesn't. No ego with me - just like having fun with good car people.

I will be more active this year in both BMW and PCA driver education programs and have a goal to instruct and get an SCCA license one day.

Hope that helps and looking forward to meeting you all,

Alex

Cool nice to meet you Alex...I'm thinking about doing at least one BMWCCA school in 2008 so maybe you'll be my instructor...anyways, you should try to make it out to our next meet/drive...they're always fun

Welcome to the forum, Alex. Do you have Fabspeed muffler by-pass pipes on your car? About 3 weeks ago, me and my friends stopped by to have dinner around Loudoun and saw a silver C2 with aero kit.

Welcome Alex, look forward to you joining a drive before it gets too cold!

Alex Lunsford Oct 30, 2007 08:26 PM

Datax: No by-pass pipes on my car, but it does have a Fabspeed muffler. Thinking about headers too and would love to hear any 3.4L that has both.

Whoever is joining me Sat 11/3- address for Johnson's Charcoal Beef house is 401 E Market St SE, Leesburg, VA 20176.

The food is fair at best so we wont dally, but they have a big side parking lot and its central in Leesburg.

Hope to see you,

Alex
