WW isn't the cheapest place but quality of their work and attention to detail is awesome. I believe they are the only shop in NoVA that can fix aluminum space frames that they use in Audi S8s and now R8. By the way, it cost almost 10 thousands for this (see picture). All it needed was bumper, fender and a headlight. So, I ended up getting all OEM RS parts including center radiator tilt by myself and let them do the work. And, surprisingly, bill came out not a lot more. If you order parts thru them, it's *very* expensive. Besides, they cannot order Porsche Motorsports parts.

I am a little suspicious of Euro Pro, I had some hail damage and they wanted to repaint the whole car. I brought it to another body shop who used paintless dent removal system and never had to touch the paint and it looks like it was never damaged.

try tysons collision. They do HBL's body/paint work, and at a fair price. Wagonwerks is a complete ripoff IMO unless your insurance is paying for it.

First Choice in Arlington does excellent work at a decent price. They only do OEM parts though, no aftermarket.

Thanks to everyone for the recommendations. I'll try and get some quotes this month from several shops.

I never closed the loop on the job I had done by Euro Pros. These guys were great to work with. Jack, the co-owner treats you like his long lost best friend. They do almost nothing but Porsche work with a couple of full on restorations in progress. Jack gave me a very reasonable verbal quote that he stuck to even though there were two cracks in the bumper none of us caught (I delivered it to them still in bubble wrap). The work was superb. I've had a few people comment on how good the color match is and it's virutally blemish free. It looks factory installed and brand new. I believe they do most of the body work for Rockville Porsche as well.

I've found the place I will be taking all my vehicles to for any body work needed. I've been busy with some warranty work on my car this week so I won't be able to post pics until the weekend.

Deckman, I almost forgot that your car was undertaking work at europros and I'm very happy that everything worked out to your satisfaction.

Thanks for closing the loop and look forward to meeting you and checking the car out in person.

Euro Pros - very poor!

I went to EuroPros and dropped a part off to get painted and mentioned that I also had a roll-bar and some custom work to do so if all went well I would bring these parts in too.

I was promised by Derick (apparently the owner of this shop) that everything would be done and ready to be picked up within three days. Three days went by no call so I gave it another day - nothing? Called them and was told that they were not even aware of the part and that Derick is on vacation? OK.

Received a call back and the tech mentioned that it should be ready in the next two days and I'll get a call....obv two days pass nothing yet again - call back and am told that Derick will call me regarding the part when he gets back to which I tell them screw Derick I am coming by to pick up the part.

This has been the Shi**est service I have experienced by far...

To add to this a friend recently had his rear bumper fixed there and was promised a turnaround time of two weeks which turned into five, on top of that it looked like they had used old parts?

STAY AWAY from these idiots.

Deckman - I am glad that things worked out for you - but I'm going to check on some of the other shops mentioned on this thread.

I'm really sorry to hear of your experience. They took about a week longer that they were suppose to on my car but the work was really good. Good luck with your next place.

I have a very good friend that is an awesome painter. He painted my 911 about 13 years ago when he owned it. Let me know if you want his contact info. He lives in Fredericksburg.

Thanks for the tip. I brought my car in to get the roof resprayed. They seem to truly have the "state of the art" facility and great personal service. They gave me advice on what I should or should not spend my money on. I dropped off the just two days ago, and I just picked it up. The workmanship seemed great. I could not detect any overspray or tell where the new paint stopped or started. Here's another incredible thing--it actually cost what they said it would cost, and it was ready when they said it would be ready. These are basic concepts that unfortunately are foreign to most nowadays. I don't know how their prices compare to others. Even if they cost more, it is well worth it in my mind.
