March meeting topic at IMA Motorsport
I thought of what to talk about for the March meeting and after some soul searching I called I good friend who is a great speaker and a complete gear head and asked him if he would want to do some of his old discussions and teaching.
So the topic is going to be "Vehicle dynamics and how it affects your driving"
It is a very interesting topic as it can cover a lot of stuff. He and I will put a nice presentation for all that attend along with driving tips and techniques.
He is an awesome driver as I taught him all he knows
and is a former Potomac chief Instructor for the DE program, racer as well and a great autocrosser. If you guys want to have some fun and learn some stuff you need to attend. I will pick a date in the next day or so and post it.
If you have not met the legendary Bob Williams this will be your opportunity. He is really good at the stand ups and keeping the crowd wanting to know more.

Is this the special guest? That is one nice car! If Saturday is a possibility, please consider the 27th, as every other weekend seems bad.

I'm In
I will be there even if it is during the week I will call out of work sick!!! I have seen Bob Williams RSR a few times at different PCA events. His car is stunning. I think it took him a total of 9 or 10 years to complete the build. I don't even won't to know the price on the ORIGINAL Porsche MOTORSPORTS carbon fiber intake manifold, or how you can find such a rare piece.

Yep that is Bob's car in those vids. *****in car. I should know since I built the engine for it.
He is my very good friend and a very accomplished mechanical engineer as well as an avid autocrosser. For those of you that have not had the opportunity to meet Bob and sit through one of his DE style classes you don't know what you would be missing. Make time so you do not miss it.

How those Sunday the 28th sound. We can do cars and coffee again around 10 at the Caribou coffee in Fairfax again and drive to the shop for the discussion.
Hope this works for all. If not change your schedule
Cheers
