It's great to be back in 911 again...

As some of you already knew, I sold my 996 GT3 to my brother over a year ago and haven't really been to usual local meets ever since. That is going to change since I picked up another 911 last weekend. Did a test drive around back roads of PA and it was a blast! Looking forward to see some of the old faces as well as new ones at the local meets again. :)

Long time no see, Mario. Solomon Island meet soon? :) Do you still have the GT2?

Thanks! She's 2008 RS. Only 8000 miles. Here's an iPhone pic of the first sight :)

:D Thanks! I'm quite excited! Entire last weekend, I was blasting around back roads of bucks county up in PA and it was amazingly addicting to drive. It started raining at one point and one thing I immediately started to notice was how stable 997 chassis is over 996 GT3 that I had. Now I understand why I couldn't catch these in wet. Here's me trying to catch one at VIR in wet back in 2007. Oh the memories... I still CANNOT believe I finally get to own an RennSport after all these years!

Also, the engine noise was utterly brilliant inside the cabin because of those plastic back windows http://images-2.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/...lies/smile.gif.

That's awesome...I instruct for PCA and several other groups after having raced with BMW, PBOC, and GTS Challenge...the 3-RS is a fantastic road course machine and the the 997 is indeed shown to be 1-2 seconds a lap faster...last time I was at VIR was with Zone 2 in March and we had a pretty good showing of RS's and cup cars although my student was in a turbo hilarious

Cool. Yea, I should be joining PCA and do their events again.
