If you've been following the other thread about the caravan up to Harrisburg for the Supercars on State Street, you've seen that I was going to take an alternate route to York before meeting with the main group to finally arrive in Harrisburg together.

The route departs at 9am sharp from Cloverly, MD and arrives in York at around 11:15am. That should give enough padding to stop if needed along the way and still meet up with the rest of the group.

The route will take us through Sunshine, Etchison, Lisbon, Taylorsville, Westminster, Glenville PA, Jefferson PA, Spring Grove PA, and on into York PA.

If you're interested, please PM me, and I'll send you the Google Maps link with the route I've planned. Just to be clear, my intent is not to take these routes to drive crazy through small towns...but a spirited country drive to enjoy the performance of our cars where the roads allow. Anyone interested in a different "type" of drive...I'll see you when I get there.

There are some really great backroads to take in carroll/frederick/adams/york counties. i used to ride them on my sportbike a few years back...just don't remember the names.

 

I am still in as of now. Daddy duties may supecede this in the morning.

 

Sounds good. I'll be at the meeting spot @ around 8:45am. Should be a great AM drive! I'd actually love to do it even earlier but then we'd be waiting a long time in York for the rest of the crew.
